in China, many people are buried in house, especially men.  if a man wants to get married, house is a must now. rich enough, he paid it in a lump ,otherwise he could pay it in a mortgage with his wife. Such "tradition" based on our parent generation's considration, faces are important for chinese, there might be a reason that many parents figure that their daughters get married in a "rental" as a pain point. However, a underlying reason is that for most Chinese, house means a lot. it is beyond something made from concrete and steel, it's a sign of  family, the root of family members. parents love their children and hope their children have happy marriage. this is originally a good wish, but now it's getting worse, a house now could be a trigger of breakup. in china, middle class are rising, however, it doesn't means middle class occupied the society.some parents see affording a house or not as a basic requirment of a marriage, which turn marriage quite a trade. what do you think, if you dont have a house or your spouse dont have a house, can you marry your beloved?
