The second Rural Drama Festival (spring) hosted by Weifang Maizishushui Culture Communication Ltd., and co-organized by Jianshan Workshop, Hongshan Art Space, Baiju Caotang, Zuomu Yingtang, Xiaokang Rushiguan, Yao Space and other organizations will be held in Mujiayuan Village, Gaoli Street, Hanting District, Weifang City, Shandong Province in east China from April 14 to 16, 2017 .
With “flower” and “wild land” being the theme of rural drama festivals held in the spring and the autumn of 2016, the theme of the coming festival is “bud”, which means “the sprout of plants”, and implicates “people” in particular, or everyone living inside and out of villages.

1.Opening Ceremony

Time: 9:00 a.m., April 14

Place: No. 1 Threshing Ground, west of the village (west of the Zhongxinji Street)


           


2. Entering the Venue

Time: 9:30--11:00 a.m., April 14

Performance teams tour in the large street market from west to east in order with impromptu interactive performance with the audience.

Bus line: Weifang --- Mujiayuan Village (middle buses).

Buses will have marks of “drama festival” on the very day of the festival

Notices:


  • People on self-driving travels should park their cars in designated places according to marks to leave enough space for pedestrians.
  • People hoping to stay overnight can consult villagers. ·Bring more clothes in case of low temperature.
  • Bring rain gears.
  • Bring food, or you can eat in the two restaurants in the village.
  • Enjoy your journey and go back home safely.


People living in Weifang can adopt car pooling for the journey.
