Chinese media is governed by the truth ministry of the state - ask any Chinese journalist and they will tell you.

Media in western countries is completely different, and there is so much more of it, that it takes different education and learning than Chinese can grasp to manage it

Not that many foreigners read media any better. It's no surprise that Trump takes on media so strongly, considering that media illiteracy of common public is one of biggest reasons why he got elected.

What I'd like to know, is how the hell is this even an "Editor's Pick"?
It's hard to win an argument with a smart person. It's damned near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.
