Even though porn is banned, you can find it in just about every DVD shop. Prostitution is only banned when the police don't get their payout/weekly romp in the hay. If they don't get their hongbao, the brothel will be raided.

The age of consent is 14 in many countries. Including Canada, up until 2008.

"The Tackling Violent Crime Act raises the legal age of sexual consent in Canada to 16 from 14, the first time it has been raised since 1892. But the law includes a "close-in-age exception," meaning 14- and 15-year-olds can have sex with someone who is less than five years older." (CBC News, May 1, 2008)

Of course, even though the age of consent in China is 14, it is still felt to be morally wrong to have relations with someone that young.
It's hard to win an argument with a smart person. It's damned near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.
Stupid people are like Glowsticks. You want to snap them in half and shake the crap out of them until they see the light.
