My English is power, can not all understand you.

But I think, the 帐 become 账 , maybe not is Chine ...

To many things, It seems that we have known them but in fact we have not seen their true face!  Such as what light is.

Really, my this topic is hard for all foreigners to understand. It is challenge for my writing!

In daily life, Chinese call teacher as 老师 instead of 教师.
It is hard to for people to understand why 老 stands for ‘old’?!
In fact 老 represents ‘a senior man with high social status’! -----------Its top part ‘+’  should refer to the head which symbols ‘wisdom’;Its bottom 匕 means ‘sword’ which represents ‘power’ or ‘strong ability’; The remaining middle part shapes like his 'shoulder and arm'.-------------So 老 looks like ‘a man with a sword in the hand’.
'二老'(two old persons)often refers to 'parents'.

孝 shows ‘senior’ leading ‘kid’ that means ‘the young imitates the old’;
And the last part of 教 comes from ‘文’ which means ‘scholar’. ---------(I have explained  文 in details in my recent thread.)
