It seems the war is escalating between newly-crowned President Donald Trump and the mainstream media or the "liars" by President Trump.

After several media outlets like CNN, New York Times and BUZZFEED were barred from a White House press briefing ,Today Donald Trump announced through his tweets that he would not attend the Correspondents' Dinner in the White House, a star-studded, black-tie dinner which is usually attended by the president, journalists, celebrities and Washington insiders.

What would happen next and where would this confrontation between the executive power and the fourth estates?

Yes, one thing is for sure, we would be surprised soon by President Trump and won't be surprised about that.

It takes two to go to war. Sometimes even more than two. The Usanian media are not innocent either. There is no big loss for us readers, listeners and viewers if some media are not invited to Donald Trump's press conferencxes or if Donald Treump refuses to go to a dinner held by correspondents.

He is probably the only person that can take on the media...

This is how dictatorships start.  Shut down the press and control all the news?  He only wants people to hear how he wants to portray the news and all he does is lie after lie after lie.

He makes up attacks to stir up hate against muslims and immigrants.

If he can convince everyone that the 'news' is fake and to only believe him, he can paint whatever picture he wants now can't he?

He can keep on telling incidents of crimes committed by 'illegals' and how dangerous muslim immigrants are.  All the while ignoring the most violent and dangerous group in america - white nationalists.

There are trump supporters - people who voted for that man, now telling me about the dangers of muslim men to women.  The people who had no problem whatsoever voting a man in who bragged about sexual assaults - 'I can do anything'.  Disgusting.

Its all about hating the 'other'.

Donald Trump makes me want to hate white people in america.

Behold the turtle. He makes progress only when he sticks his neck out.
