The program which is produced by Tokyo televison reveals the plight of Chinese students' conditions in Japan. They suffered high pressure and abuse. When they finished their studies they can sign a contract with company. While studying, while working. But the truth is not as happy as those sentences.

They even can't study any technology, they are just cheap labor power. Those jobs are rejected by Japanese, they called it '3K Jobs'. Those Chinese students are still facing the treated unfairly, industrial accident, and working overtime, those conditions even can result dying from over work. That is illegal.

Japan has one of the tightest immigration policies in the world, and as a developed country it does not even desperately need foreign English teachers and senior managers same way China does.

I'm quite sure many of these foreigners (Chinese in particular) have been caught in same kind of trap as some foreigners in China - they are working illegally to begin with, so they hesitate complaining to proper authorities (or simply don't know where to complain).

General knowledge of any foreign country's rules and regulations about employment and related matters should be important reading before even going to another country, even if one plans to go there initiallly just to study.

But of course if you are in China, your access to information about foreign countries affairs is always a little restricted, due to inability to access international search engines. This could also contribute to the fact that so big portion of the reportedly missing persons are Chinese.

To all Chinese: never think that working conditions abroad become you more than the Chinese working conditions. If you earn more income you will have to work harder, and more efficiently. Cn you do that? Few Chinese can adapt. Even few Asians or Europeans from countries other than Japan and China can.

I see nothing different in this story than in other articles I've read about working conditions for trainees in China. Foxconn, anyone? As a matter of fact, there were news articles a few years ago about this very problem. Foreigners under disgusting work conditions ... in China. In one such article, a coloured man was rescued from slavery conditions in a brick factory, in China. The only purpose this article serves is to fuel the fires of xenophobia and racism towards Japan.
It's hard to win an argument with a smart person. It's damned near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.
Stupid people are like Glowsticks. You want to snap them in half and shake the crap out of them until they see the light.
