not only that too many take advantage of your generosity. i used to spend 1500 rmb nearly every week on meals and bars which i didnt mind, but that only opens the door to them asking for 50k for hospital bills...
if you want something in life get off your backside, and do it yourself!! don't rely on others to do it for you

It is commendable that a country chooses to help people in other countries who are in need of help. Britain has contributed a great deal to assist those in need. The UK politicians, the aid organisations and the agencies who decide where help should go are I fear out of touch with what is happening at home. Recently decisions have been made to send money to aid the people of several corrupt countries known to steal it. Some of the richest countries in the world receive aid because their governments choose to spend their wealth on weapons or other things while their poor people starve.
I understand that China is wealthy enough now to expand its expenditure on eliminating poverty particularly in rural areas. China is beginning to consider better ways of providing health care and education.
I ask myself why does the UK feel they have to send money here to support plans to help the elderly when China can do it themselves? I ask myself how can such a decision be made when the UK's own health and welfare social services are now clearly collapsing through lack of funding?  Angry?.... yes, like many UK citizens.

I have a good idea..... ask China to help finance Britain's health services!
