China's smart phones have taken Indian market by storm!  Something for you to chew over!

Because they are cheap.

But the West already invented the smart phone, as did South Korea, Japan, and Europe, and China has been trying to catch up.  They still have not: their phones either use Western semiconductors and LCD screens, or Chinese chips that are of less advanced nm distances, and these they don't even have the ability to fabricate, but outsource to Taiwanese fabs.

The West is already working on 5 nm chips, but China is still at 28 nm fabrication ability.

How about chewing on this one, China is way ahead of the West in 5G technology!

And who invented the 5G protocols, and the concept of telecommunications protocols to begin with?  The West.

Honestly, the only way you can prove otherwise is to show China creating many examples of completely new scientific and technological concepts that the West has not yet thought up.  Until then, China will just be a copy-cat culture.

Japan was a copycat at one time, but later went on to innovate, just like China is going through now.  And btw, you can't have  a copycat patent registered.  China has registered more patents than any other country!
