Where is the hypocrisy?

It's been China that's been raising the ratchet, interrupting other nations' normal economic and political activities in the so-called "South China Sea".

I also think China is extremely ungrateful to the U.S.A. and Australia who both liberated China from the Japanese conquerors seven decades earlier.

Surely the U.S.A. could and can legitimately expect that China maintain freedom of navigation through the waters it helped free from the Japanese invaders?

Maybe the U.S.A. and Australia should not have been so generous in helping the Chinese regain their freedom; they could have let the Japanese retain some islands... (Not my idea...).
