Where's the actual proof, aside from musings by the BBC?  Will Europhiles also claim the Greeks trained Chinese workers how to build the great wall?

The Great Wall was built in several stages by different peoples (during the Zhou era there were no real "Chinese" but a heteroclite collection of different tribes, peoples, races under feudal overlords); the walls separating the countries from one another during the Zhou era have gone and we do not know exactly how they were built - except that they were built by slaves. Later additions were built in different styles depending on who the ruler was who commissioned them. It is possible - but this has not been posited so far! - that foreign influences contributed to the construction of some of the sections. Do not forget that during the Tang dynasty, China suddenly had access to the knowhow of Central Asian peoples that helped China develop. For example a number of Chinese music instruments originated with Central Asian cultures.
