One thing that differentiates Books from the rest is the type of entertainment they prefer.  Books prefer pure data acquisition as the ideal form of entertainment.  The gaining of knowledge of new data explaining reality is a source of pleasure, even euphoria, among Books, while non-Books prefer to seat themselves in an environment of cultural degeneracy; they truly are non-sentient, as if you are walking among mindless trees.
