Raise the tax rate for the rich is a suggestion from the jealous and shows a knee-jerk reactionsim rather than a well-thought out strategic planning.

All Western nations used to tax the rich more heavily than the middle classes or the underprivileged. What was the outcome? The rich gave up their citizenship rights and relocated to tax havens. In the last 30 years, the E.U. has seen the moneyed elites desert their countries of birth and set up home and business headquarters away from home without giving up business activities there. Even French film stars such as van Damme acquired the Russian nationality to escape high taxation back home.

Raising taxes only for the rich is discriminatory and in the end, counterproductive.
