There are those who believe that one method of improving student achievement in our public schools is to pay teachers’ salaries based upon merit, i.e., raise their salaries based upon the success of their students.

Do you think so?

Everyone wants higher pay, but honestly, it can't change the way I teach...for me, I only know one way to teach and it doesn't matter how much you pay, you get the same stuff...

If you want to make money, don't go into teaching.

i guess you don't know what "rich" means.

you're not going to get rich teaching, no matter how much you get paid. you have only so many hours you can give.
