Yes I am a fairly good guide with the Chinese students I accept into my home for free tutoring. Have worked with over 500 in my home in the years I have lived in China. Not even think of myself as a "teacher" not agree using that term. LOL

I think I did offend him. I wrote him and apologized to him if, in fact, I did offend. Not my intention at all. He wrote a blog and referred to 'M&M' who is a star blogger. Though what he talked about in the blog was not anything I said, I still feel that he might have been offended that I corrected his spelling publicly. I should think twice before posting any comments on here. I should have given him the correction privately and not publicly. I will be more careful in the future.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any real way to tell a "native speaker" that his/her English sucks. They tend to get offended when corrected.
