用这种方法我能一小时背下新概念第三册五篇文章，前提是先做好笔记，记住笔记要点，在把它还原成原文。若会做笔记，大概做到三千时，词汇搭配能力自然而然会提高，阅读能力显著提升，写做不再害怕没有好词，一句能变千句。

if u learn English that way...you'll be exhausted    there will be no fun and you'll give it up sooner or later   keep energy for sth smart to do

我宁愿背一万个这样的短句，建立自已的语料库，比背一万个不知如何使用的单词有意思多。学英语时，脑中有两个库，一个是语料库，此库是教你如何用词，如何搭配，如何造句。另一个是单词库，库存量不够妨碍阅读，这点是大家都经历过的。学英语得花工夫，不是一天两天的事。

英语专家他们学英语时是读了很多书的，他们能写出很多好句子，那是因为他们脑中有材料，你不能写出或者写出较少的句子来，只能说明你脑中缺乏相应的东西，你看得懂书刊报纸，但不一定能写得出来，因为书刊报纸上的东西不是你的，你能读懂只不过是一种反应，是被动的。英语专家可是花了不少功夫去读书读报的，日积月累渐渐地形成了自已的语料库（然而他们却不知这种自然而然的过程）。现在教你们的方法就是让你用较少的时间形成自已的语料库，当你的语料库存足够丰富时，你就能举一反三（这是自然而然的能力），到时你也成专家了(否则你就得花好多年时间去读书吧）。这几天在学麦克米伦初阶美语词典，以下是很少的一部分笔记，只是告诉你如何善做笔记。

MACMILLAN ESSENTIAL DICTIONARY(FOR LEARNERS OF AMERICAN ENGLISH) 麦克米伦初阶美语词典（英语版）
1.        the first letter of the english alphabet 英语字母表的第一个字母
2.        give a mark to a student’s  work 给一个学生成绩平分，打分
3.        show that(后接完整句子) 说明到…. 表明到   表现到…..
4.        it is excellent 工作，任务等出色
5.        from one place to another 从一地到另一地
6.        indefinite article 不定冠词
7.        begin with an aplogy首先道歉    the next word begins with a consonant下个词以辅音开始
8.        mention a person or a thing提到 提及一个人或一件事
9.        for the first time(直接做状语)第一次
10.        have an idea 有个想法，有个办法
11.        be accomanied by an adult由大人陪同
12.        belongs to 属于…
13.        represent every person代表每个人
14.        a molecule consists of two or more atoms分子由两个或两个以上的原子构成   two or more 两个或两个以上的
15.        in phrases(可做定语，表语或状语)在成语中
16.        show prices, rates or speeds 表现出，表示价格，比率或速度
17.        mean “each” or “every” 意指“一个”或“每一个”
18.        hold a meeting 办一个会议，举行一个会议
19.        four times a year(直接做状语)一年四次
20.        peaches are 99 cents a pound桃子一镑99美分     90 miles an hour一小时90英里
21.        appreciate a little encouragement感谢鼓励
22.        in expressions of quantity such as “a lot”, “a few” or “a great deal” 在诸如“许多”，“一些”或“大量”等表示数量的方面上，用于表现数量大小，如“许多”，“一些”或“大量”等
23.        be formed from a verb（名词）由动词变形而成
24.        means a action of that verb 意思是指动词的一种行为
25.        have a try试一试
26.        take a walk around the garden在花园中四处走走
27.        give a degree to students给予学生学位

30.        (be) used for counting or doing simple calculation(加be成句子，不加be成定语)用做计数或做简单计算
31.        an abacus consistis of a frame with small balls in rows算盘由带有一排排小珠的框构成    in rows一排排的，一列列的
32.        leave someone or something离开某人或某事     never come back绝不再回来    abandon him抛弃他    be five days old五岁大
33.        a stolen car 被偷的车   be abandoned only five miles away 被丢弃在五英里处    five miles away（直接做状语）
34.        stop doing sth停止做   achive your goals达到目标    finally anandoned their attempt on the mountain 最终放弃他们登山的尝试   
35.        left empty保持空无状态    no longer used不在使用    an abandoned farm抛弃的农场
36.        be left alone独处，独自呆着   stay with you和你呆在一块，陪着你过  be left alone by sb被某人留下 take care of you 照顾你 a home for abandoned children一个孤儿们的家
37.        be embarrassed or ashamed about对某事感到尴尬或不好意思
38.        buildings attached for monks隶属于和尚的房子
39.        remove some parts去掉某些部份   a short form of a word一个词的简短形式   MIA is an abbreviation for “missing in Action”  MIA是“missing in Action”(做战失踪人员)的缩写。
40.        ABC   Australian Broadcasting Corporation 澳大利亚广播公司
41.        give up being king放弃王位，放弃王权
42.        stop accepting responsibility for something不再接受对某事负责，不再承认对某事的责任
43.        the front part of your body below your waist身体腰部下的前部份
44.        take someone away using force用武力带走某人
45.        something is not normal某事不正常，反常
46.        what you usually ecpect(整个当一个名词用)（正如）你平常所料的，（如）你平日所想的
47.        abide by something 遵守   follow a rule ,decision or instruction遵守一个规则，决定或指示
48.        have something for a long time长时间拥有某物    for a long time(直接做状语)
49.        has good organizational abilities拥有很好的组织能力
50.        ability to do sth(当成一个名词)做某事的能力    affect your ability to drive影响你开车的能力
51.        to the best of your ability(做状语) 尽力地，尽最大能力地    answer all the questions to the best of your ability.尽量回答所有问题

一般来说，凡是能做be的表语的，它们大多数都能直接充当定语用。如上面210中的be active in politics，把be去掉后就能直接做定语用，如 a member (be) active in politics活跃于政坛的一位成员，又如214中the actual number of people killed， be killed .又如新概念英语 book 3
Lesson 1 . A puma at large中第3条的pumas are found in America狮发现于美洲，把be去掉之后pumas found in America在美洲发现的狮。又如206中的.miss in action在斗争中失踪，介词语料in action在此做状语，和be连用后为be in action 处于失踪状态，因此能做定语，a list of soldiers (be) in action miss 在斗争中的士兵失踪了。A list of soldiers miss in action 在斗争中，士兵失踪了。又如33中的a stolen car 被偷的车   be abandoned only five miles away 被丢弃在五英里处    five miles away（直接做状语），把语料还原为
a stolen car is abandoned only five miles away 一辆被偷的车抛弃于五英里外，把be 去掉后就变成了a stolen car abandoned only five miles away一辆抛弃于五英里外被偷的车。又如220中.a movie made from a book 一部由书改编的电影，它原来是a movie is made from a book.电影改编于一本书。能做be的表语有名词，形容词，介词，ing分词，ed分词，that从句，故许多表语皆能转换成定语，ing分词和ed分词不同在于ing分词的修鉓的名词为主动，且具有原来be+ing分词所表示的进行时意味，而ed分词所修饰的名词是被动的，且具有be+ed分词所表示的被动意味及完成意味。而be that(后接一个完整句子)这样的形式，去掉be后则转成定语从句或同位语从句。
