puzzled by contest of Miss World 2001

Hi, everyone, I've seen a sentence said by the MC on the finals of Contest of Miss World 2001: "Now, for the final question from Miss Scotland!"
I know that means: it's Miss Scotland's turn to answer her last question, but in my opinion, he should have said like this:" Now, for the final question for Miss Scotland!" Why did he used the word from? In fact that question is for Miss Scotland, not from her, I think.
Thanks for your help!

.....

If the speaker was going to ask Miss Scotland the final question, 'he' should have said 'for'. (a question for Miss Scotland to answer) Maybe Miss Scotland was going to ask someone else a question. In that case 'from' would be correct. (a question from Miss Scotland for someone else to answer)
