Shahu Lake, a national 5A-level scenic spot in Shizuishan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, featuring deserts, lakes, reeds, birds and traditional buildings, welcomed its first snow of the season on Saturday.

The mixture of white and yellow — snow-covered sand and bushy reeds in clear water — formed an unusual scene.
