On Nov 23, in Gutian county of Ningde city in Fujian province, over 200 primary school students were suspended their classes in order to welcome provincial government leaders and the media. Standing in line in their school uniforms on both sides of the path,  they await the provincial leaders' arrival for a meeting.

Is education should be put to priority, even on the government's agenda? But what the county leaders did tells us it is a dream.

Well, politicians visiting a school is always tricky, whatever the country.

In France we continue class "as usual" but everybody awaits for the guest and nobody really focuses, it's just a front. Then the government official will usually stay in class and look at students answering VERY easy questions.

It's kinda a pretend show.

I remember when I was 8, the mayor of my city visited my primary school. He sat next to me ! We chatted a lot and we both got scolded by the teacher, it was funny
