and that of a successful nation, empire, club or Kingdom!

We need
(1) Financial sophistication - This means big range of financial instruments, making it easy for citizens, legal entities to raise cash, or monetized assets.

China has been very efficient in creating a Property Market and Credit creation.

(2) Business Registeration - China needs to register all businesses, with small cost, minimal difficulties, efficient. The apparent lack of business (only 4.0 million registered) means practical difficulty to raise finance, inability to get good statistics on the progress of enterprises in China.

(3) Commodity availability - In fact, government organized companies such as Sinopec, China Railways; to ensure commodities are sufficient or available. In fact, there is no reason why China cannot have similar companies such as Rio Tinto, Vale, BHP, Anglo American etc. to ensure sufficient commodities for China's economic growth.

(4) Manufacturers - We need wide range of manufacturers, and a huge base of CONTRACTORs, or SUB CONTRACTORs in order to make available any product that CITIZEN needs or thinks he needs!

(5) Farm Produce - We need all kind of farm products, meats, fish, fruits, grains and the PROCESSORs to provide us with good, healthy, tasty, safe diet.

IT DOES SEEM, China is weak in BUSINESS REGISTERATION, access to information is VITAL.

cheerios!

good point, mr. desaview!

Well, a competitive political enviroment, means POWER BALANCING, extreme policies are now allowed to fester, creating dangers to our economy. We don't need QUACKs in the Malayan economy! We need SMART MANIPULATORs and very understanding civil Factions! - excessive greed, evilness is not welcome in Malaya!

Yes, Chinese history is quite TERUK too!

During the Shang Dynasty, all kind of MILITANT, militarist kind of ruler. Tyrants who kills or imprison for the smallest, flimsy reasons! Visit the Tiger Balm garden in Singapore, look at all those tortures, the Chou Dynasty took over thereafter, and life became more civil - but feudalism has problems too!

ha ha ha
