'In every single classroom cheating takes place during any test and every exam!'

The problem lies ...

It's not the government's job to watch over classes taking exams; it's the government's job to offer an education worth striving for without cheating.

Whatever type of education the govt offers, there will always be cheating in exams, that is in the students' psyche!  So, stop blaming the CPC, that is your favorite pastime!

You have a somewhat questionable idea of human nature and of a government's responsibility towards its clients, really you do.

To say "cheating is in their psyche" is irresponsible. In fact, no scientific discipline supports such a view. Cheating develops in response to certain stimuli provided by the environs, here the schools. It is therefore the schools' job to identify causes of cheating in their system. How is stating a mere fact "tarnishing the reputation of a nation"??? Most Chinese complain about having to learn by rote, and learn nothing of value.

You on the other hand who keeps coming down on the Chinese for perceived shortcomings truly do attack their reputation. It is not the commentator who reports the cheating in Chinese classroms who should get lambasted; it is the cheaters who deserve it. But behind the cheaters stand the officials who don't move the goalposts to make education a worthwhile endeavour.
