Flight 3U8633, which took off from southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality on Monday, was forced to make an emergency landing in Chengdu before it could arrive at its destination in Lhasa City in the Tibet Autonomous Region when the windshield broke mid-flight. Thanks to the captain,Liu Chuanjian, who was able to make an emergency landing at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport about 45 minutes after the incident, all 119 passengers and nine crew members aboard were saved. After that, Liu received much praise from people around the country and was callled Chinese Hero.
In response to this incident, an investigation team was soon set up and started their work on Monday morning for seeking the cause behind it. Then, public attention has turned to this investigation, which has caused a hot debate on the praise and investigation. Some think that public need to pay attention to the fact behind the incident for passengers' further safety first and Sichuan airlines must be responsible for it while some argued that prasie the captain for his brave and responsible should be first.
Are there any contradictory between the praise and investigation?
