In response, the male passenger remained calm and he repeatedly said that there was no regulation that banned having instant noodles on high-speed railway.

However, the woman  relentlessly continued and the situation escalated.

The male passenger later posted the footage on Baidu Tieba, a Chinese online forum, which soon went viral on Chinese social media.

A heated debate was soon raised among Chinese netizens. Some criticized the woman for her rude actions while others deemed that having instant noodles on railway would influence other people in the carriage.

A staff of high-speed railway told Yangtze Evening News that the reason why the woman got so angry was due to the fact that her child was allergic to the smell of the instant noodles

“Although the woman’s request was reasonable, she should do it in a more gentle way instead of acting in such a rude way,” a Weibo user commented.

“I think it is inappropriate to have instant noodles on the high-speed railway because it is too smelly. Although the woman was overreacted, the man behaved in a selfish way,” another Weibo user said.

According to Btime, the staff said that the high-speed railway didn’t sale any instant noodles on board, but there was no regulation that banned having instant noodles on board.

Huang Xin, deputy director of Operation Department of Transport Bureau of China Railway Corporation, told the media that the carriage was hermetically sealed so the unpleasant smell of instant noodles was likely to stay in the carriage and made passengers feel uncomfortable. He said they don't encourage passengers to have instant noodles on board.

There is a pink sausage here that turns my guts upside down  The smell is horrific, and i always see someone eating it on buses. Instant noodles should only be allowed on long distant slow trains.,This woman should have been more polite with her request, and she was lucky the man kept his calm........many wouldnt have done. .
if you want something in life get off your backside, and do it yourself!! don't rely on others to do it for you
