1% of all Chinese?  Do you think that many Chinese read the CHINA DAILY???

What makes you think there isn't?  Have you got statistics to show?
And those who are here can pass the message to ther compatriots who are not here!  This could be a talking point for them; that would have served the purpose of this OP.

It is not fair to generalize all Chinese tourists as uncivilized. Every country has rude people and  ...

"As the world's most populous country, China has probably the most travelers around the world, meaning it also has more obnoxious and rude people than any other country."

A typical Chinese excuse for bad behavior, which we have heard many times over!  A large population is not a good excuse for bad behavior;  neither is a small population!  Antisocial behavior must be condemned wherever it exists.

And while we are talking about lame excuses for bad behavior, here is another one which has often been paraded around: "Oh,  but China is a developing country"!
Yes, China is a developing country only in GDP terms, but the major cities where the rich concentrate, are very highly developed cities, with standard of living even higher than many cities in the developed world, but their social behavior leaves much to be desired!   They behave no better than people in third world countries!

So, stop giving excuses, better to admit and accept that a serious problem exists and try to remedy it!

Same reply I gave her applies to you!
I do not mean all Chinese bahave badly, far from it, I have many good Chinese friends whose behavior is beyond reproach!   I am pointing out a serious problem among a large number of badly behaved Chinese, so evident in real life as well as in reel life on CCTV News!   I am careful to title my thread with "Many Chinese.."  not "All  Chinese.."!  Pity you and your friend prefer to see it in a negative way, when in fact this thread highlights a social problem that needs urgent attention!

Oh, I forgot you like to dig up old cases, before the anti corruption campaign was launched.  And y ...

It's almost useless talking with you - you always brilliantly twist others' comments. I don't need to dig up the past to find dirt on China's coat. I mentioned to YOU the ONGOING bribery case involving your Mr Najib. To refresh your memory I point you to a massive transfer of funds from Saudi Arabia to him via a Swiss bank; the Swiss vetted the flow of these funds and concluded it was illegal and the money was dirty. Who stood to benefit? Apart from Mr Najib, the Chinese infrastructure suppliers.

Other cases currently hot include hefty payments made by China, sometimes via a hong Kong businessman by the name of Patrick Ho, to African leaders in Chad and elsewhere. THe African connection is currently subject of investigations and a court trial.

I wish corruption was prioritised by the ruling few but the truth is that they have other priorities. In Africa it is to secure lucrative business deals for Chinese companies and to achieve that they fall for the temptation to pay kickbacks to the men in power there. I believe the same modus operandi is at work in projects that are undertaken under the heading "Belt and Road Initiative". if you look at some construction projects in Laos, Indonesia, Thailand, you can see the telltale signs there. In Europe we are concerned about the sleigh-by-hand approach of China to entering national markets there.

Not as bad as your frequent anti CPC rants!  Your comments are destructive, mine are constructive!  ...

Sorry, others are better judges of your rants and complaints than you ever will be. There is probably not a single poster here who holds such a sanguine view of your anti-China tirades as you do.

To laud yourself is to being highly immodest. Try to eat a piece of humble pie. It tastes great and it does you good!

The Chinese who actually visit this site and read here can be counted by your two hands and maybe someone else's left hand. They include SEARU, Senorita Zhao, Perfumecity, Celicia Zhang and so on. There are notorious chinauvinist foreigners of Chinese stock such as Seksphoto and Lost Hunter, but few of them speak Chinese and none of them interacts with real existing Chinese people.

Take my advice: modify the music! You sound shrill, hysterical and haughty all the time even when you say you mean well for China.
