In many of my threads I often point out the support for socialism.
When I debate these qualities, it always comes down to "people naturally are selfish and greedy" as their argument.
It seems people can not accept that "people are naturally good".
We have endured and survived 1,000's of years, by comunicating and cooperating between ourselves.
We banded together to form civilizations and valued how as people, we can thrive when we help each other.
If we were truely "selfish and evil", none of the above would of been accomplished.

They support capitalism because they feel it is the only way to keep these, "evilness in us in check".
Otherwise, people will sit and do nothing.
Socialism can not work, unless it is based on the simple fact, that "People are naturally Good".

I used to think that way.  And then Trump was elected president.  How can I believe people are good after Trump?  He has a whole fan base.  Has really shook my faith in humanity.

Given the choice of two evils (Hillary is not an angel), people had to choose one.
The American political system MUST have better candidates than this.
Morality has lost its meaning in the current political structure.

Giving better conditions to live under, will restore your faith in Humanity.

Better conditions?  I'm not sure what you mean.  I just need to see goodness.

Better conditions would mean more "goodness".
The reason we are bad to each other, is because the "environment" people are exposed to.
Maybe that is the reason, people from the country and nicer than people in the city.
Ideal conditions would bring out "ideal" qualities in us all.

I can not accept people are born and inherently bad.

It was people from the country that elected Trump.  I wouldn't call them 'nice'.   They are waging a cultural war.

Race war.
I know it does not look pretty.
But they are not the majority.
I'm sure if the election was today...
he would not win.
Trump does not represent the masses.
This just shows how America is broken.
