yes of course,
but the topic discussed here is the method of butchering.
should there be a method of butchering at all?
the purpose of butchering- what in the animal is used and for what. should any animal be used industrially for any purpose.
and should all animals be treated the same.  is there no difference between a cow and a fish? or say, between dolphins and carp.

I believe, not all material is used for clothing.
it is mainly for accessories, wallet bags etc. ...

If the animal is dead for food.....
why not use its skin for leather?

when you talk about hunting and sport I would change the subject.
for we are talking of an indust ...

If your talking about "corporate" mass produced livestock and fowl, where the live in small cages and pens.....

I would rather them live in the open and free.
(don't know if that would make a difference in taste or personal guilt)

thank you for your comment, yes it has been accustomed in fur farms that animals were kept in large living areas with a pool or a artificial pool but, as demand grow resulting from a new mass middle class demand for furr and skin , combined with Asian indifference for animal rights enforcement the old methods are not efficient enough to produce these quantities. the process is different around the world, as there are whole countries which has ban the trade completely, others are encouraging it.
