China should open up PLA especially the defense industries to the world. This is one way to fast track the industry and its development to achieve advancement and marketing aspect.

A tide controlled over the industry will not be to China's advantage opening it up will further move it to a new height and be one of the world biggest suppliers of equipment. Challenge will be there and certainly China's products has a standard of its own to meet it.

It is also time for China to startup a hallmarks of its very own be it military or commercial. Make that 'Made in China' brands a household's name and strictly control the excellent standard of production with as narrow a margin as possible. It is now the perfect period for China to achieve that HALLMARK. Yes, cost will go up but China's products will be and must be the paramount of it all.

I am very happy to see this, as I am a foreigner with a Chinese-born son who would like to see  his nation's military.China  needs to showcase  even show off some of it's military to present to the world that is a power that needs to be respected.Very good news. When younger children can openly see their own  country's military and even police units in action then respect and admiration begins.
