Today must be baboon's day

Wrong. Today  is International Cat Day. Believe me - it was in the news. There is no day dedicatd to Ghastly Beast.

There will have to be a change of leadership in India, and, hopefully, the country will return to a  ...

... and more so in China, don't you think so? Only the Chinese have in recent decades been aggressive towards other countries. India has threatened no one. It has not invaded the small Himalayan nations that have historically acted as buffer states - unlike China which has gobbled up the biggest country separating it from India.

That is all there is going to be in the deep future.

You seem to be believing that being aligned with China is being "nonaligned" ... The Nonaligned Movement died precisely because China has always been a ruthless hegemon.

India thinks and works in a different dimension from the rest of the world. Indians pride themselv ...

What a frivolous statement...

India is in fact working on showcasing its ancient traditional links to the countries that rim the Indian Ocean. Indians have influenced the cultures in the whole of Asia for two thousand years, and unlike the Chinese, they did not have designs of subjugating these states. Indian traders settled in Indonesia and Cambodia and southern Vietnam and Laos and Thailand and Malaysia and had fruitful, peaceful rapport with locals.

Unnoticed by others, India is also trying to reach out to the world but without bragging about its wonderful Bolt and Red scheme. It builds highways that connect India to Burma and Thailand, for example, and it installs hydro-power stations in the Himalayans.

So let's about mutual interest instead.
China and India need each other.

You don't seem to read the signs on the wall,, do you?

China is NOT doing anything to stem global warming, to reduce CO2 emissions. IT does everything that quantitatively lifts its standard of living but nothing that does anything positive for the environment.

It does not reduce the number of coal-fired power stations. It merely adds solar panels to supplement its power generation.

Donald Trump is a sworn enemy to the Greens but China is a paper tiger roaring as softly as an asthmatic mouse.
