"I was always waiting for someone to appear, to help me fulfill my dreams, including taking wedding photos," she told the BBC. "Now I choose to fulfill my dreams by myself."

Well, cute it is but why does she dream of the wedding act when there are so many more valuable things to care for? It smacks a little bit of childishness or vanity. I still admire you, Miss Chen!

The remarks of Dusty1 and Seneca both reflect the difference between barbarism and humanity.  No wonder their governments treat other countries the way they do.  You cannot really make a sculpture out of rotten wood, can you?

Sometimes I really wonder about some posters on this BBS.  Their lack of empathy and common good old fashioned sympathy is horrific. So what if she doesn't have a bridegroom in the photos, the poor girl is terminally ill and is not going to be here for much longer so she has every right to do what ever she wishes if it brings her joy, providing it is not a criminal act.

Bravo to her for being so brave and also for doing something that makes her feel better. To the empty vessels who just have to heap their scorn or indifference on the young woman, what would you do if she was your daughter? Would you deny her the photoshoot or support her regardless of your innermost feelings?
