Doctor PNP's story, you pillock. He told us a second-hand story.

Pls ask if you want to know the truth; it happened to a friend here in China with whom I have close contact and know what happened.

You give us a story pulled from the grapevine:

"You give us a story pulled from the grapevine:"

It happened to a close friend, and we talked about it, even discussed it with other expats here in China.  Shame on you to try to belittle the story to avoid facing the truth, that there is indeed rampant discrimination against Overseas Chinese in recruitment of English teachers in China.
Reverse racism is well and truly entrenched in China, perhaps the result of past humiliation of the Chinese by white invaders who attacked, plundered, burnt down the Summer Palace and carted away loads of antiques, and even forced the Qing Emperor to give up Hong Kong to them at the barrel of the gun!  I guess this shameful behavior of the white invaders is too much for you to stomach, hence you try every means to discredit this story.

You give us a story pulled from the grapevine:

"It's simply a logical leap: English is a White Man's language, hence good English is spoken by real Englishmen or Americans. "

Stupid logic; English is no longer the 'White Man's language',  it is an international language spoken fluently by non whites all over the world.  Trying to justify discrimination against non white English speakers this way is unacceptable.

If he could provide firm evidence aganist the named university in discrimination, cd should not be t ...

Sorry, not everyone wants to pursue a matter in court, too troublesome and too costly too, perhaps he is happy to just expose the wrongdoing for the benefit of readers.  I don't see any problem with that.  In fact more people who have been wronged should come forward and share their stories with us.

Thanks for the support

"Why people doubt my experience is beyond me."

Simple, the truth hurts so much, too shameful, especially for those who benefited from this discrimination, including seneca, that they have to discredit your story.

Let's be more specific in your 'unfortunate discriminative treatment':

1. Have your lodged a formal complaint with the relevant department of the university regarding your being discriminated aganist as a non-white English teaching staff in the university?  What is the consequence of this process & what's the response from the management team?

2.  What kind of firm proof in supporting your discrimination charges against the university?

Discrimination should not be an easy & popular excuse in covering people's own inadequate knowledge or failure in handling various cultural disputes, sounds 'reasonable' & pitiable though...
