China would not have to occupy Korea.
Let them be as it is (as long there is no US bases there)

China would blackmail their Korean neighbours to force them to obey Chinese dictates. It is nothing new except for you. What would happen if China continued or reimposed its boycott of N Korean coal? China recently showed how brutal it can be to Mongolia.

China could of rolled in Hong Kong a long time ago.
Who would be able to stop them?

Although you think the Comrades-that-dictate are violent boors I can assure you they can employ slightly less muscular, slightly more subtle methods to et their will acted upon. They can, for example, kidnap Hong Kong residents to the Mainland and thus shake the whole HK community to its bones. That is more effective than driving tanks to HK.

China and UK made that deal when the handover happened. If China had "rolled in" HK, or does tha ...

The CPC is worried about one thing.....
"unrest" in its society.
The past experience with the West has not been a good one.
That is why social media is limited in China.
The West continues to "bad mouth" and instigate unrest in China only because they call themselves "Communist".

I give them credit keeping 20% of the world population in check.
I'm glad you see the improvement in China.

If USA would not be allowed to have bases on Korea, I'm sure that they would have even more base ...

Why is it America needs to be in Asia?
What right does America have to be the "policeman" of the world?

China has one base outside its country vs America has 100's
I very much doubt the US would do what I'm suggesting because they want unrest in Asia.
America's economy is rooted in its military.
They want a "Boogie man" like North Korea, so they can project its will in Asia.

In your world China is bad period!
I know your mindset on this and respect your opinion.
But if you want stability in Asia.
China MUST be part of this solution.

Korea is one of China's biggest trade partners.
A unified Korea would only improve this.
The only reason there is a trade problem with Korea is China does not want the US missile system so close to China (which I understand).

Ridding North Korea gives less reasons for the US to be in Asia (the "pivot").

I'm with you on this one.

Criticism is a means to improve the system.
I think China and the CPC are strong enough to withstand criticism.
What they worry about is "interference" for outside sources.
Criticism needs be "sincere and constructive" and free from "bias".
