In second place is the colour blue, reportsTravel and Leisure.
Blue reportedly symbolises "the newworld" with 15 of the Caribbean countries opting for it.
Further south down the South Americancontinent, Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay also use a blue passport – the coversymbolising the connection with the Mercosur trade union.
The United States are said to be changingtheir passport colour again in the near future
Venezuela, on the other hand, still uses ared passport, a throwback from its time in the Andean Community.
The most famous blue passport in the worldthough has to be the one issued to US citizens – but this was changed to blueas recently in 1976.
